Day begins with pick-up from your hotel or airport and later proceed on a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park along the Nairobi – Mombasa Highway. A very relaxing drive through the savannah and within 3-4 hours you will have arrived just in time for lunch. Get the chance to comfortably check into the lodge. Enjoy your meal, unwind and enjoy the amenities. In the afternoon you’ll will head out for an exciting safari game drive in search of the Big 5 animals against the view of Mt. Kilimanjaro as the background. Dinner and overnight at camp or Lodge.
Overview:
Amboseli National Park is situated in Loitoktok District, Rift Valley Province of Kenya. Amboseli National Park ecosystem is mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya -Tanzania border, an area of low scrubby vegetation and open grassy plains, all of which makes for easy game viewing. It is the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants, which are for sure a breath-taking sight to behold, whereas various African lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other species can also be spotted, offering spectacular photographic experiences.
Itinerary Detail
Right after breakfast, you will be picked from the lodge and proceed to the plains of Amboseli for a day full of safari adventure. Soak in the excellent views of Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds build up over the summit. Catch the big cats as they stroll through the savannah. This is the best time to spot lions, leopards and even cheetahs. Our game drive will also take you to the observation hill to have a better overall view of the park. Gaze at the big herds of elephants crossing right near your vehicle and get the chance to spot over 80 different mammals and over 400 different bird species. Dinner and overnight at camp or Lodge.
You’ll wake up very early for the breakfast where you’ll enjoy your last moments in your cap or lodge. enjoy the amenities and afterwards check out and proceed with a visit to the Maasai village. Afterwards have a relaxed drive via the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway and arrive back in the Nairobi city to arrive late in the evening with drop off at your hotel.
