Overview:

Lake Naivasha is the largest freshwater lake fringed by lush forests of fever trees and overlooked by the ragged-edged of the volcanic Mount Longonot on floor of the Great Rift Valley. It is home to about 400 species of birds and wildlife such as Giraffe, hippo and waterbuck, but the main attraction is the bird life, which is best observed on a boat trip on the lake..

Amboseli National Park is situated in Loitoktok District, Rift Valley Province of Kenya. Amboseli National Park ecosystem is mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya -Tanzania border, an area of low scrubby vegetation and open grassy plains, all of which makes for easy game viewing. It is the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants, which are for sure a breath-taking sight to behold, whereas various African lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other species can also be spotted, offering spectacular photographic experience

Itinerary Detail

Your safari will start with a pick-up at JKIA Airport or your hotel in Nairobi. After a brief meet and greet, our office representative will hand you over to your driver-guide. You will later drive to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive at Amboseli National Park a few minutes before lunch, and you’ll check in at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, freshen up, and have a hot lunch. after having some time to relax, you will head for an afternoon game drive. The highlight of this park is the presence of over 1600 free-ranging elephants, spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and a chance to get the best snapshots of the amazing African sunsets and sunrises. After the game drive, you will head back to the Camp or lodge for a hot dinner and your overnight stay.

After Breakfast you will be picked from the lodge and proceed to the plains of Amboseli for a day full of safari adventure. Soak in the excellent views of Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds build up over the summit. Catch the big cats as they stroll through the savannah. This is the best time to spot lions, leopards and even cheetahs. Our game drive will also take you to the observation hill to have a better overall view of the park. Gaze at the big herds of elephants crossing right near your vehicle and get the chance to spot over 80 different mammals and over 400 different bird species. Dinner and overnight at camp or Lodge.

After breakfast at the camp, you will head to Lake Naivasha. On your way, you will have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a panorama view of the escarpment. You will then proceed and arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch and freshen up and proceed for a hot lunch. After lunch, you will be driven to Lake Naivasha for a Hippo Boat Ride and the Crescent Island Animal Sanctuary. Take a hippo boat ride around the lake. The haunting call of a Fish Eagle high over the lake as it prepares to grab fish from the water brings a perfect getaway. Animal Sanctuary Tour: It is one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya and is often called Naivasha’s best-kept secret. Perfect for Wildlife Watching, Bird Enthusiasts, and all fans of the wilderness Later, we will drive back to the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

After having breakfast, you will head to Masai Mara, one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. You will proceed and arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch Have some time to rest after having a hot lunch. Around 4:00 pm, proceed for an afternoon game drive.  Masai Mara is the highlight of every safari in Kenya. The reserve has the highest concentration of wildlife in Kenya. In case your safari falls from July to October, you will have the privilege of witnessing the 7th Wonder of the World, the annual wildebeest migration, especially while crossing the crocodile-loaded River Mara. After the game drive, we will come back to the camp or lodge to freshen up and enjoy dinner

After your breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver guide for a full-day game drive at the Masai Mara. Masai Mara is one of the most famous and important wildlife conservation and wilderness areas in Africa, world-renowned for its exceptional populations of lion, African leopard, cheetah and African bush elephant. The Masai Mara is the only protected area in Kenya with an indigenous black rhino population, unaffected by translocations, and due to its size, is able to support one of the largest populations in Africa. Hippopotamuses and crocodiles are found in large groups in the Mara and Talek Rivers. A Maasai village visit is typically an excursion included in a longer multi-day Masai Mara safari tour. You will have a chance to visit the village and enjoy the beautiful Maasai culture, dance and jump with them. You will have lunch at a picnic site near the river followed by an afternoon game drive until sunset when you’ll come back to your camp or Lodge.

After breakfast from the camp or lodge enjoy a special cultural moment by visiting the Maasai people in their nearby villages with an English–speaking guide. Later, you will leave the Maasai Mara region with an en-route lunch. for your safari back to Nairobi followed by a drop off at the hotel airport.
